These 3/8" thick CPT - Crawler Proven Technology™ heavy duty shackle sets come complete with Grade 8 hardware and are ready to install on to your vehicle.

2 kits required to lift entire vehicle.

For springs with either a 1.75" or 2" width which is typical for Scout 80/800 and Scout II.

Check appropriate box if you want shackles to fit a Scout 80/800 from 1961-67, 1968-71 Scout 800 or 1971-80 Scout II, Terra or Traveler.

Choose either 4", 5" or 6" shackle set when ordering.

Typically a Scout 80, 800 has a 3" shackle while Scout II have a 3 1/4" shackle. 

A shackle set that is 4" will give you a lift of 3/8" on a Scout II, a 5" shackle will lift you 7/8" on a Scout II, and a 6" shackle will lift your vehicle 1 3/8" on a Scout II(Deduct 1/8" for all Scout 80/800's due to the factory shorter shackle).

Because you are only lifting one end of the leafspring is the reason why you only get a small amount of lift when going with larger shackles.

Keep in mind that because you are only lifting one end of the leafspring you are affecting your steering geometry and may notice your vehicle wanders more when driving. To help alleviate this condition it is recommended you add castor shims to the front axle(Sold separately).
