Uses a relay style ignition switch with remote switch box instead of the mechanical rod style ignition switch found on the factory steering column.

LATE SCOUT II OWNERS - WILL NEED TO REPIN THE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH. The pigtail pre-pinned is designed for early pre-77' Scout II only.
Column is shorter than factory on the firewall side. A long piece of 3/4" DD shaft is included with your purchase to use and replace the shorter 3/4" DD shaft on your existing Borgeson conversion kit.
