Grade 8 Steering Box Mounting Bolt & Nut Set for 1971-80 Scout II, Terra or Traveler

Replace the three old original steering box mounting bolts with new grade 8 hardware and locking nuts.

Original bolts are 7/16" in diameter.

We recommend 1/2" bolts for strictly offroad vehicles with 35" or bigger tires and front axle lockers.

Steering box and frame must be drilled to accept the larger diameter 1/2" bolts.

DO NOT RUIN YOUR STEERING BOX CORE BY DRILLING OUT TO LARGER BOLTS UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TO.
